Pardon the dust... We're making some changes!

Hello my beautiful readers! After a bumpy journey of trial and error, I've decided to make some adjustments.

I started this blog 4 years ago, and my focus kept drifting from it with other things. Many life "things" were happening in that span of time: Between moving, changing jobs, moving again, getting engaged, a global pandemic, getting married, buying a house in a new city, getting a second dog, and now about to have a baby! It's safe to say I've been a little distracted.During all this time, I have been re-evaluating where my life's path is taking me. I love being a therapist, and it's something that I'd say I'm good at, but after some deep soul-searching, I decided that I'm shifting away from clinical life. However, I wouldn't say that I'm leaving the field completely.(alt=The truth is, I'm a natural-born writer, and I've always wanted to make a living through writing. If I can combine my skills and knowledge of 8 years of OT into writing, and still be able to help people, then I will feel fulfilled.I want to be more present for my family, and the time-freedom that writing will give me is pushing me in that direction.I'm nervous, and I constantly feel like I don't know what I'm doing, but that's okay. I want to see what I can do when I give my all to writing.

So here goes: I'm beginning the process of becoming a full-time blogger. With that, I am going through a "re-brand". The blog you know and love as OT Untangled will now be known as Kita's Clubhouse.

This blog will still be full of useful information relating to OT and special needs, but changing the name opens it up to a whole world of possibilities for ALL kids, after all, that's what inclusion is, right?I'll be incorporating tips and info for parents, ideas for therapists, and fun for kids. A little something for everyone!

Welcome to my clubhouse. I think you're gonna like it here.

Here are a few things that are coming this year:

    • youtube videos
    • yoga classes
    • printable worksheets
    • craft kits, shipped straight to you
    • and more!

To get the most out of the clubhouse, you can start by...
